Dr Maral Dadvar has become a member at Association of European Research Libraries (Ligue des Bibliothèques Européennes de Recherche, LIBER).
More than 400 national, university and other libraries are part of LIBER and their main mission is to enable world class research by representing the interests of their institutions, universities and researchers in several key areas. The main areas of focus include key topics such as Copyright Reform, Digital Humanities, Open Access, Metrics, and Research Data Management.
Dr Dadvar is an active member of the Linked Open Data Working Group which aims to produce a set of guidelines, best practices, and tools for opening library data in accordance with the linked open data principles and with a special emphasis on semantic interoperability.
